Senator Trump moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for Senate Bill 821—A Bill to amend and reenact §55-7K-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to providing immunity from civil liability to facilities and employees providing drug and alcohol detoxification services, substance use disorder services, drug overdose services on a short-term basis, or crisis stabilization services related to drug and alcohol detoxification services, substance use disorder services, drug overdose services on a short-term basis; establishing an effective date of July 1, 2020, for newly amended sections; and detailing the relationship of this article with laws regulating health care provider insurance requirements.
